Endorsement of the new ESA/EBA Procedural Sedation Guideline

VIEW IT HERE

Dear Colleagues,
The attached sedation guideline was discussed at the recent EBA meeting in Budapest. The guideline represents an EBA/ESA collaboration. The ESA/EBA Task Force sought an endorsement of the guideline from the EBA. The consensus of those attending the meeting that more time was required to consider the guideline. To this end I have attached the document for consideration by all EBA delegates ( not just those who attended the meeting).  I would encourage you to read the document and send it to any relevant stakeholders within your national society. Any suggestions/possible amendments/ concerns should be forwarded to either myself (secretary@eba-uems.eu) or Edorado De Robertis (Chairman of the ESA guidelines committee and EBA treasurer treasurer@eba-uems.eu ). Your choice as a EBA delegate representing your national society will be either

a} endose
b} not endose or
c} abstain from endorsing this guideline.

I appreciate that some amongst you have already emailed me your thoughts. I would appreciate it if you could now complete the ballot here.

Best wishes
Thank you.
